G-Dragon, the leader of BIGBANG (other members include Taeyang, Seungri, T.O.P and Daesung), had a minor ankle injury, but this will not stop him from performing his solo World Tour concert. On April 28, according to YG Entertainment, the agency to which G-Dragon belongs, he injured his ankle in the middle of his Osaka concert at Kyocera Dome on the previous day.
Related personnel said, “G-Dragon sprained his ankle on stage during his encore performance, but his injury was attended immediately after the show.” The news on his injury was delivered to his fans through G-Dragon’s personal SNS, as he wrote, “I ended up with a minor injury in Osaka performance – how clumsy am I!”
But fortunately the damage on his foot is minor that he does not have to cancel his Kyocera Dome concert on April 29.
Another personnel said that “he was injured during the concert but it will not affect his future plans and he will be able to carry out the original schedule.” G-Dragon has kicked off his first solo World Tour dubbed ONE OF A KIND in March at an arena in Seoul, and will be travelling to 8 countries to perform 26 times in 13 cities until the end of June.
